Today was the second of four practice set-ups and it went great. We got to set up the lights and sound for the first time and it went really smooth. We still have a few material things to get, but for the most part we have what we need to launch. We still have to get all of our signage. Eric has been working very hard on the signs and they are going to be awesome. Here are a few things that we set up today. Guest check-in table, Children's checking table, VHQ area... this is for our volunteers, Children's area... we still have a few things to get for the kids area, and in the worship area we set up lights, sound, pipe and drape, chairs, projector and a few other odds and ends. Hopefully I can get a few pictures posted on the blog this week, if not then they will at least be in the next newsletter. The real work over the next several weeks will be making sure that we have effective systems in place to deal with visitors and supplies and such. The core group is doing an amazing job!
